The story
In 1913 a leather goods company, Fratelli Prada, was founded in Milan by Mario Prada. The label met with real success in 1977 with the arrival of Miuccia Prada and her famous collection of Pocono nylon bags.
She improved the brand's quality and prestige and won over a chic international clientele. She decided to launch men's and women's ready-to-wear lines that met with global success with the release of 'The Devil Wears Prada'.

The scope of the label's original, avant-garde approach now includes Prada Beauty, Prada Eyewear and Prada Sport.
Amongst Prada's muses are Linda Evangelista and Eva Herzigova, whilst the famous Pradettes, fans of the label such as Miranda Kerr, are ever on the increase.
