Ever since 1971, women have loved the elegance and timeless modernity of Gérard Darel's collections.
The history: Gérard and Danièle Darel decided to found their brand in 1971 and the couple weren't long in defining the label's own unique feel with a range in soft colors and elegant cuts. The first boutique opened in 1987 in Paris' artsy Saint-Germain-des-Prés, which rapidly became the place to go for garments that combined luxury and pared-down designs.
When Gérard Darel purchased Jackie Kennedy's famous glass bead necklace at auction, he was inspired to create his mythical 'Jackie Necklace', which has become one of the fashion house's must-haves.

Gérard Darel created the iconic 'Le 24h' leather bag, which comes in a range of different sizes and colors and, to reflect a certain French idea of elegance, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Laetitia Casta were chosen as the label's muses.
